Once again more updates have been made to the website. We've updated the home page and the projects page to be a lot cleaner and prettier to look at. Projects that have not been cancelled have been given their own page instead of sharing one page.
Due to some issues with the current build of PewShips development has paused as we look into resolving this issue, as for when this issue will be fixed we are unsure but PewShips will receive more updates in the future.
Our newest project is underway, a first person shooter set in the distant-future on Mars. What mysterious lie below the surface of Mars? Find out in 2024!
On top of developing our newest title and continued support for our current title we are also in the planning stages for the next few titles, as we start fleshing out these ideas we will post more updates on them here.
As you can clearly see the website has seem quite a few changes, mostly graphical.
The store has also been removed temporarily while we work on it and flush it out a little bit more.
We're putting much more work into PewShips and hope to have the game released spring of 2021 on both Windows and Xbox.
In other news as we move closer to our first Beta build PewShips will move to an open beta/closed alpha testing set-up. You'll still be able to download and play early builds of the game but only betas after 0.1.0 unless you get approved to be an alpha tester.
After quite a lengthy hiatus we are offically back on track. Our EDC will be updated shortly and we hope to get PewShips out this year! Fall 2020 is the expected timeframe for the game's release. We are all excited at Divine Games for this recent update.
If you've been following our progress you would know that the reason PewShips was postponed was due to hardware limitations. We weren't able to get the progress we had hoped for in the time we were wanting because of limited access to proper equipment. Recently I reactivated my Microsoft Azure subscription and learned about their N-Series Virtual Machines, VMs that utilize Nvidia GPUs, and knew exactly what I needed to do. Shortly there after I created an Azure VM and set it up with everything I need for development.
When will PewShips release?
Currently PewShips expected release date will be sometime in Fall 2020 on PC and Xbox but the date is subject to change. We're dedicated to making this game as clean and bug free as possible so it might be much longer before the first full build is released but we will be releasing beta builds for everyone to play.
How do I play the beta?
Before the only way to get the beta was to be a sponsor or patreon, but now we're changing that. Starting this week PewShips the first build of PewShips will be available for public download, each new beta build will be available free to the public.
